Scale

From our "Amazingly Detailed" maps of campuses and downtowns, to maps that cover the Earth, we map the world in a variety of scales. Many of our titles are "multi-scale," focusing on details and zooming out to give the bigger picture.

Subject	Description
(A) Walking scale	Our Amazingly Detailed maps, with scale up to to 1:10,000, show building shapes and names, one-ways, and lots of little details you won't find on any other map!
(B) Street map scale	Our street maps, with scales from 1:10,000 to 1:40,000, are field-checked and enhanced with detailed point-of-interest information. At the date of publication they are the most current and accurate maps of their area!
(C) Metro map scale	In a metro area map, with a scale of 1:40,000 to 1:200,000, we use our editing mapmaking skills to edit out extraneous information, and get you to and from the points you need to find. No straight-ahead "data dumps" here: we check and recheck every point on the map!
(D) Regional/state map scale	Our state and regional maps, scale 1:200,000 to 1:1,500,000, get you across the state and to those points you need to find, based on the most current information available. Parks and attractions are show clearly, and our road-network artwork is tailored to each map for maximum clarity!
(E) National/world map scale	Our national and world maps, from 1:1,500,000 on up, show national regions, the entire country, and the world, generally focusing on a specific theme.
